Hogar San Francisco Xavier

Hogar San Francisco Xavier is an orphanage located 21.5 kilometers from Guatemala City along the road to Antigua. Founded in 2000, it is managed by four Brothers of the Divine Providence order and a small staff.

The orphanage currently shelters 90 boys, aged 5-14, most do not have a safe family or place to live. Together, the orphans and Brothers live as one family, with new hope and very real opportunities.

During the day the Hogar runs an elementary school which is also open to boys and girls from the surrounding area. Currently there are 225 students attending school each day.
