History

The Meaning of Our Logo

The Mayan people believed that God created humanity out of the four colors of corn; the white, the black, the yellow, the red. Each color of corn transformed into a different race of human beings, and each found its own land to settle. It didnít take long for them to begin fighting.

In our logo, the people of the world are characterized by four figures standing together. We no longer fight; we stand in unity and celebrate life while pointing to the four cardinal points.

Behind the four figures is the round shape of the world restored of its pure clean water denoted by the blue, and encircled by a band of gold depicting the richness and wealth of the world and the green representing a healthy natural environment.

The white star at the center of our logo symbolizes the hope that is at our core and emanates from each one of us.

The World Ties Us Together.

BY EXPOSING YOUTH FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO OUR VISION AND OUR WORK, WE HOPE TO NOURISH A GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF UNITY, WHILE HONORING TRADITIONS THAT EMERGE FROM THE LAND AND THAT HAVE SURVIVED STRONG FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
